So recently I purchased some cake pop pans from the As Seen on TV commercial. All I can say is I am a SUCKER!!! Those pans are whack. I tried to use them several times with no luck. The cake would bake out of the little stick holes in the top and then they would sink back down. Each time I opened the pans they were not circles...Hello what is the point if they come out flat on one side. Another problem with the pan is that the balls are so big that when you dunk them in the chocolate they rip off of the sticks. Finally, I watched Bakerella on You Tube and ah hah CAKE POPS. I am making these for my sons first grade class. I do have to admit it is more work than I thought it would be but at least they actually look like cake pops. I hope they enjoy these cause this is time consuming!!!! I know some of you are wondering is this turning into a baking blog and the answer is no but I just thought you could enjoy the photographs of these tasty treats ;0) wink wink. Also, I want to save anyone who was thinking of getting the cake pop pan. Just watch the You Tube video before you spend your money.
